A New Year for More Maganda Moments- A look back on 2015

Just before the countdown to 2016 began, I had several things go flooding through my mind. Mostly about how great 2015 was and the adventures that were had that are now “old news”. I thought about how blessed I am to have the Husband/Family that I do and friends who actually are true. I began to quickly go down my list and thank God for everything He’s provided me with. For a fleeting second, I found myself sad to see 2015 go because of all the memories I hold so close.

You see, 2015 didn’t just hold my sweet Grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary and precious family memories that always accumulate every year, it was yet another year of growing closer to Conrad and realizing what we want for our future. It was also a year of putting myself out there, taking pictures for “strangers”. It was after several requests, e-mails, and messages we started Maganda’s Facebook page last March. We went from being asked by our family and friends to take their pictures to being asked from “friends of friends” and even complete strangers reaching out to be in front of our lenses. It was my first year of submitting over 10,000 images to the copyright office.

Conrad and I have made so many memories with you all. And, in turn, we have been included in some of your MOST IMPORTANT memories in life. Our couples who started as just engagements – we’ve walked with them down the aisle and been there in their most intimate moments. All the seasons of life, we’re just so thankful to have shared them with you and are looking forward to those new seasons. To the weddings we have coming up in 2016, the Brides that we’ve shot who will call asking for pregnancy announcements, to the birth stories we have coming up, there is just so much anticipation for 2016.

Your “Beautiful Moments” mean so much to me and MY heart is much fuller because of them. I look forward to walking through more life events with each and every one of you guys because the truth is, you aren’t people to take pictures of, you are dear friends to me. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives. Let’s see what 2016 has in store!
